ARISE Staff Training
ARISE Foundation’s mission is to introduce valuable life skills to youth and adults, enabling them to achieve their highest potential through training and education. This is accomplished through our life skills training program and ARISE Life-Skills Curriculum. You don’t have to hold a college degree in education to be trained as an ARISE instructor. ARISE is taught by those with GED diplomas, volunteers, teachers, counselors—anyone with a desire to help young people. Please click on the following link to see our ARISE Recipe for Success.

Once the training workshops have ended and participants return to their lives armed with their new knowledge, ARISE keeps in touch through 12

quotes delivered to their inboxes.
All are offered as part of the ARISE Drop It at the Door training experience. Studies have shown that without these vital
reminders, the new skills learned during training can become distant memories in as little as two weeks. ARISE workshops are not meant to be quick fixes
for life’s problems.
They are a foundation for a positive way of thinking. In order for the training to be truly successful, participants will want to frequently
revisit and hone the skills they learned. ARISE has provided that support system to ensure maximum retention.

“No Training Necessary – But Available”
| Questions: |
- Is there an education level (i.e. Masters or Bachelors Degree_ required to teach the ARISE program?
- Can individuals purchase programs and use the ARISE Curricula without training?
|
| Answers: |
- No, there isn’t a required education level to teach ARISE. The ARISE curricula has been designed specifically for those with no formal teaching experience, however, teachers, counselors, therapists, and others have enhanced their group facilitation skills by attending ARISE trainings.
- Yes, you can purchase the curricula without training. In fact most of those who are successfully using this remarkable material around the world have never been trained by ARISE. ARISE training is an asset for those unaccustomed to working with at-risk, troubled, often out-of-control youth. These individuals can step right in and begin making a positive change in their lives.
